From Earth 1610 in Brooklyn New York we have the 15-year-old Miles Morales who made his first on-screen appearance in the movie “Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse” in the year 2018. His nationality being half African American and half Puerto Rican already makes an impact on these two communities considering the recent focus on diverse mainstream superheroes. His morals are quite similar to all of the other Spidermen, helping others, defeating bad guys, and making a positive impact on his community. One of the aspects I want to highlight is in the second movie “Across the Spider-verse” in the year 2023. Miles is warned by Miguel O’Hara (A variant of Spidermen) and the rest of the verse about his existence is an anomaly, and if he continues to make changes to a canon event it may destroy his entire world. Miles will proceed to show his determination and bravery to save anyone and everyone from harm by doing risky acts of saving people even turning on the spider-verse society itself to in quote “Do my own thing”. Even more interesting and powerful is when his father’s life is on the line Miles is willing to risk his life and his existence to save him and defeat his villain “Spot”.
