Once Upon A Time in Hollywood…
Tarantino’s most recent installment in theaters, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood took audiences by storm showcasing the summer of 69 in the City of Angels. The film follows Rick Dalton, fictitious movie star who feels his days in the spotlight may be dwindling, his stunt double and designated driver Cliff Booth, a complicated man who has a mysterious past, yet is always there for his buddy Rick. Rick and Cliff are seemingly the only characters in the movie who are not based on real people and celebrities. The film also follows Sharron Tate, up and coming starlit who hopes to continue her success in movies. If you know anything about Hollywood in the late 60’s, is that there is a great evil that lurks in the shadows. Though, after all, maybe this time it’ll play out different. Maybe this time, we’ll get our fairytale ending, Once upon a time…
