Festivals are often a place where people go to escape reality and immerse themselves in the musical world. However, some festivals can be somewhat overwhelming with other things that they offer. If you are thinking about attending Electric Forest this year, here’s a simple to-do list to get you started!
1. Get involved with the Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt is a great way to check out tons of pieces throughout the festival and a great way to meet new people! To start it, visit the Time Travel Agency and pick up your stamp card. Before you know it, you’ll find the Forest is riddled with exciting things.

Throughout your journey, you’ll quickly become more comfortable with the festival and notice all the spots you passed by without realizing. Don’t be afraid to ask around too. Along with noticing all the cool new spots, you’ll also start to recognize all the other people involved with the hunt as well. A reminder: there are really no lines at a festival so if there’s a line (or crowd) around a random place, it’s probably worth checking out!

Once you’ve completed your stamp card, head back to the Travel Agency & they’ll give you a special pin. While great for a new collection, this pin will also give you access to a secret space that only those with the pin will be able to enter…
2. Keep an eye out for the fairy houses

Placed all around the festival, it would be hard to not spot a few – even without a map telling you where they’re all located.

Don’t be afraid to go right up to them and get a good look – you may be surprised by what you find inside! Though some are harder to spot than others, a good sign is people crouching down or pointing to something random.

A friendly reminder: these are a give & take sort of activity. If you take something, leave something. Bracelets, candy, stickers, crystals, anything goes but it’s a good idea to bring some gifts to leave for other Foresters!
3. Try out some of their food
Buying every meal from the festival can add up quickly…but trying out some of their food is a must! If you’ve been to other festivals before, you may recognize this festival staple below.

Island Noodles! A fan favorite and a meal that is sure to keep you fueled until your next meal. If you like it a little more on the spicy side, you’re free to add their special sauce on top at the end. Located within the festival itself, make sure to head there before the end of the weekend!

Another fan favorite: The Cereal Bar !! Visitors can mix cereals, candy toppings, add ice cream and there are options available for any dairy free friends. If you’re not a avid morning cereal person, no worries – this stand is open 24/7 for whenever you have a craving. Definitely don’t want to miss out trying this unique stand. It’s located outside the festival on the Main Street in GA or in the Good Life Village. You can also check out more of the food vendors available here
4. Check out all the extravagent art
Whether you’re hanging around the Creativity Center or walking from one stage to the next, it is impossible to miss the plethora of art around. Though the hanging umbrellas were replaced in 2023, you’ll still be sure to hear people talking about them on the walk from stage to stage.

From hanging art in the trees,

to finished products from various live painters,

& stages decorated completely in digitial art,

Visitors of Electric Forest will leave fulfilled with a new appreciation to all kinds of beautiful art.
5. Head to the Trading Post
Are you the type of person that likes to barter? Have any unique items that are taking up space and you’re looking to get rid of it? The Trading Post can help you out with that!

Take a step inside, look at all the wonders they have around and see if your item is worth trading. They may just take you up on your offer! If they aren’t interested, no worries. If you see something you are set on, all items inside are still available for sale. Don’t see anything you like? Step outside and around the side for a quick shot of pickle juice to rejuvenate your body.
