  • FIVE WORKAROUNDS FOR APATHY AND PROCRASTINATION

    Be it clinical or situation anxiety, depression. divergence. Perhaps more informal feeling of “UGGGHHH.” Or how about just a not wanting to do the thing. Whatever it may be, something that needs to get done, and in most cases you WANT to do, not getting done, because you cannot even. This is the absolute worst. Here are five things that are easier said than done, but worth considering.

    Plan ahead, book a time, and stick to it!

    If we schedule a specific time to do it, one where we have zero else to do. No work. No play. No obligations. A time, place, and space where the task in question IS the thing to do. This may be the move.

    Capitalize on that rare fire that gets lit beneath!

    If the thing of the hour pops into your head, you have a smol spoon of motivation, and the time and space to do it, DO IT NOW!!  Don’t keep reading- GOOOO!

    Ask for help!

    If its not apathy or lack of motivation, but something you cant or are dreading doing due to the fact that you lit-er-erly CAN’T or don’t know how. Find someone who can and does and ask them to show you or help you.

    Better than never

    ‘Do the thing’ at the 11th hour, or even late. Do it so damn well ,like you and everyone else knew you would, that no one will care or notice.
